I am physical oceanographer with broad range of experience with ocean modelling, operation oceanography, satellite oceanography. After receiving my Ph.D., I have worked at leading institutes where I worked mainly set-up/evaluate/validate/improve of the numerical ocean models (NEMO, HYCOM) and I have applied these models to better understand the regional sea dynamics. I have used NEMO for the Black Sea to better represent the Bosporus Strait dynamics by introducing a “Marmara Box” approach. The NEMO model was set-up for the Adriatic Sea to investigate the dense water formation and future climate of the Sea.
