Starting our project at the coasts in 2003, we scale this up to cover ridge-to-reef landscape focusing on three sub-watershed areas of the Mount Malindang Range Natural Park (an ASEAN Heritage Park). In this landscape/seascape, we are basically engaged at present on constituency and partnership building with state actors, civil society organizations and the private sector for the protection and conservation of the International Public Goods (water provisioning, food security, biodiversity and climate resilience). We assist coastal communities, indigenous peoples, women and small farmers on their claim-making rights over sustainable use and management of these resources, on representing themselves in development and multi-stakeholder bodies, on participating and self-regulating activities to increase legitimacy, transparency and accountability through capacity building activities, lobby and advocacy work, nature-based solutions for sustainable livelihood and community-based climate-adaptation efforts whether on downstream ( coastal and marine) and upstream (forest, agriculture) ecosystems.
