JMG serves to increase the contribution of mineral and geoscience sectors of socio-economic development and well-being through the sustainable development of mineral resources and the efficient use of geoscience information. sources of information, expertise, advice and research results of JMG can help authorities and operators in developing mineral resources optimally. JMG also contributed to the improvement of socio-economic development and quality of life as well as disaster risk reduction through the use of geoscience information and effective application. Indirectly, it also contributes to the development of other industries such as real estate, tourism, aquaculture and agro-based industries. research and development (R & D) mineral could increase the use of local mineral resources and mineral product diversification and import substitution. The next result of R & D is able to propel Malaysia as a premier manufacturer and supplier of mineral-based products.
